The U.S. Attorney's Office, SoUthern District of California filed 97 border-related cases last week.
The charges ranged from transportation of illegal aliens to receipt of bribes by a public official. Among those charged were two U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers charged with Conspiracy to Bring in Aliens for Financial Gain, and Receipt of Bribes by a Public Official. Another case involved two men arrested near Campo and charged with Transportation of Illegal Aliens.
