(Christmas is Wednesday this year)....Almost everything will be closed Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve is another story. Some locations will be closed, but not all of them. For example, the County of Imperial has announced they will be closed December 24 and December 25. On the other hand, the Imperial Irrigation District has announced they will be ckosed Christmas Day, but have said nothing about Christmas Eve. While the County will be closed both days, they say emergency services will not be interrupted. Law Enforcement everywhere will increase their operations. All will be on the look-out for impaired drivers and other violators who make the roadways unsafe.
