That is the Highway Patrol's Holiday Program. For this Thanksgiving Day four day weekend, the CHP will go into their MEP Wednesday evening. The Holiday Patrol is an attempt to keep the roadways as safe as possible. The Highway Patrols MEP Starts at 6:01 Wednesday evening and continues through Sunday at 11:59 pm. They say motorists can do their part by buckling up, drive sober, refrain from speeding and avoid distractions.
