The checkpoint will be in operation from 7:30 pm to 12 am in the 200 Block of Main Street in Brawley The Brawley Department reminds drivers that impaired driving is not just from alcohol. They say some prescription medications and over the counter drugs may impair driving. They say while medicinal and recreational marijuana are legal, Driving under the influence of marijuana is illegal.
