( County Registrar of Voters addressing discrepancies with ballots)....The ballots were issued to voters in the Salton Community Services District.

The Registrar says the discrepancies are due to inaccurate maps submitted by the Salton Community Services District. They say the issue affects a small portion of voters in the Vista Del Mar area and approximately 200 voters in the Salton Sea Beach area. Te Registrar says a series of steps have been initiated to correct the discrepancies. She said ballots that have already been issued will be suspended to ensure they will not be counted. Once the corrections are all made, new ballots will be issued. The process takes about a week.
