It was held late last week at the Stockman's Club in Brawley. The Branding Iron Award is comparable to the Citizen of the Year award presented in other communities.. This year's Branding Iron Award went to Carter Taylor.. Taylor was recognized for his long-standing dedication and transformative contributions to the local communities. Business of the Year award went to United Toyota Imperial They were chosen for their commitment to commercial excellence and steady philanthropic support of civic initiatives. The non-profit of the year award went to Best S T E P Forward for their ongoing work delivering positive social and educational outcomes throughout the valley.
