El Centro Police made an arrest and took a gun off the streets.

On Sunday, El Centro Police Department officers made a traffic stop in the city. The driver is on probation. During a search of the car a loaded handgun with a high-capacity magazine was found in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and booked into Imperial County Jail on various gun charges.
