The City of El Centro will host " El Grito " Saturday at Bucklin Park.

The event celebrates one of the most significant traditions in Mexican culture. There will be an evening of entertainment and food. There will be a Salsa Contest where locals compete for the title of Best Salsa. Performances by Raul Uribe, Ballet Folklorico Danzas de Mexico and Mariachi Aurora de Calexico. The celebration runs from 6:00 p.m. to 10:0 p.m. Saturday in Bucklin Park.
