A Brawley Union High School student was stabbed during an altercation.

The school resource officer on the campus responded to the altercation between 3 students shortly before 11:00 a.m. Monday. By the time the officer arrived the fight was over, but it was discovered one of the participants had been stabbed. The victim received medical treatment at the scene and was then transported to the hospital for further treatment. The other two participants were identified and taken into custody. Brawley Police say their investigation leads them to believe this was an isolated incident.
