(San Diego area man arrested)....Son Nguyen Arrested by FBI,

He was scheduled for an appearance in Federal Court Monday. The Mira Mesa resident is suspected of using explosives on two ATMs in June. The first was at 3:45 am when he connected a device to the ATM and there was a small explosion. The second explosion was set off on June 28th. In both incidents the suspect was gone before police arrived. In both cases, the ATMs were damaged, but the suspect could not extract any cash. What the suspect did not count on was the video cameras attached to the ATM's The FBI was able to extract enough information from the videos to identify the suspect and track him to his residence, where he was arrested. The 44-year-old is facing 20 years in prison for using explosives to damage two ATM's, with nothing to show for his efforts.
