A Strike Team from Imperial County has been deployed to Humbolt County.

The Team, made up of firefighters and equipment from the Imperial County and Calipatria Fire Deportments has been sent to the Boise Fire. The Boise Fire started on August 9. The cause is under investigation. As of Friday morning the brush fire has burned over 10,200 acres and there is 0% containment. Evacuation orders have been issued for areas around the fire.
