(Calexico officers respond to a house fire)... They arrived in the 200 block of Vega Street.

They found aa wooden Fence burning. They also found a witness. The witness reported they haad seen a male suspect leaving the area with a torch lighter in hand. The witness took a photo of the suspect, and provided it to thee officers. Shortly afterward, officers were able to locate the suspect. He was identified as Jose Contreras. The suspect was taken into custody charged with suspicion of arson. The fire was quickly extinguished.
