(Chicano Studies minor program being launched this fall)...San Diego State University - Imperial Valley campus is launching the program.

First proposed in 2021, it will mirror the Chicanx Studies program at SDSU Main Campus, serving an area where census data show Hispanic and Latino residents account for 85% of the population.
