(City of El Centro releases their special events calendar)..The calendar is for 2024 and 2025.

From El Grito to the popular Fire Station Open House and lively Mardi Gras Street Parade. The Grito will be held September 21 at Bucklin Park, starting at 5 pm. The City of El Centro will be collaborating with the Mexican Consulate's office in Calexico to coordinate the event. October will be busy with the Fire Station Open House, Senior Appreciation Day, Floating Pumpkin Patch, and Trunk or Treat to celebrate Halloween. Dia de Los Muertos Celebration will be November 1st at the Downtown Square. December features the Christmas Tree lighting, Christmas Parade.
