More than 80 pounds of methamphetamine was found hidden in an SUV at the San Luis, Arizona, Port of Entry.

According to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), on July 24, at about 5:15 p.m., CBP officers encountered a 24-year-old woman at the border. She was referred to secondary inspection where non-intrusive technology screened the SUV and found anomalies throughout the vehicle. A K-9 Team also alerted to the SUV. A total of 103 packages of methamphetamine were found concealed in the quarter panels, doors, and roof of the vehicle. The meth weighed more than 80 pounds and has a street value estimated at $172,000. The woman, a U.S. citizen, was turned over to U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
