(Updates on the Nixon Fire and the Border 66 Fire)...The Nixon Fire started on Monday near Temecula in Riverside County.

The fire has burned 5,000 acres and is zero percent contained. Evacuation orders have been issued. There are 741 personnel on scene with 7 helicopters, 69 engines. The Border 66 Fire started Tuesday and is burning near Tecate on both sides of the International border. It is estimated the fire has burned 300 acres and is 15% contained.
