An early morning traffic accident slowed traffic on Interstate 8.

The accident occurred shortly after midnight Tuesday on westbound Interstate 8 near Ocotillo. Two vehicles were involved and there was one man reported to have sustained minor injuries. Part of the roadway was blocked by the accident and the resultant cleanup of fluids that spilled from one of the vehicles.
