Imperial County's dispatched another Strike Team to a California wildfire.

The Strike Team, made up of personnel and equipment from several Imperial County Fire Departments and a crew from the City of Yuma Fire Department. The firefighters left at 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning to go to the Park Fire in Butte and Tehama Counties. The Park Fire has consumed 350,000 acres in steep, rugged terrain. Nearly 2,5000 personnel have been battling the blaze with 16 helicopters, 231 engines, 116 dozers,58 water tenders and 61 crews. As of Saturday, the fire that was reported on July 24, had zero containment.

On Friday, a Strike Team from the Imperial Valley was dispatched to the Lightening Complex Fire in Kern County.
