A U. S. Customs and Borer Protection (CBP) K-9 Team discovered over 133 pounds of Methamphetamine  at the Tecate Port of Entry.

At about 6:00 p.m on July 17, CBP officers conducting pre-primary roving operations cehcked a 33-year-old man entering the U.S. from Mexico. A CBP K-9 Team alerted to the truck and the vehicle and driver were sent to secondary inspection. Non-intrusive inspection technology screened the truck and located anomalies. A total of 35 packages of methamphetamine were located in a tool box and canopy bag in the truck. The meth weighed slightly over 133 pounds. The driver was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations.
