One Imperial valley Strike team returned Wednesday, and another left the Valley the next day.

A Strike Team made up of firefighters and equipment from the El Centro, Holtville, Calipatria and Brawley Fire Departments were dispatched to the Lake Fire in Santa Barbera County July 9. The Lake Fire is reported to be 90 percent contained as of Friday.

Thursday morning another strike team from Imperial County departments was dispatched to the Lightening Complex Fire in Kern County. That fire is said to be about 20 percent contained as of Friday.
