A tractor-trailer rig dropped its cargo Friday morning.

The big rig was at the Interstate 8 / Highway 111 connector when the load fell into the roadway. There was damage to several signs and to the asphalt paving but no injuries. Caltrans closed the ramp while cleaning up the spill and repairing damage. The accident remains under investigation.
