Imperial County has been awarded a $13.8 million grant for broadband infrastructure.
The Golden State Connect Authority's Imperial County Broadband Network project has been approved by the California Public Utilities Commission. Assemblyman Eduardo Garcia announced the grant saying, " We have been working to bridge the digital divide in our rural underserved community for years.
