Discarded fireworks led to a Yuma house fire.

According to the Yuma Fire Department, at about 9:00 a.m. Friday they responded to a report of a house fire in the 2700 block of Olivewood Lane. Arriving crews found light smoke coming from th attic area of the house. Firefighters determined that the fire was in a corner of the garage and attic space. The fire was quickly extinguished. Investigators determined that the fire was started by fireworks that had been improperly discarded.
