(IID Board meets Tuesday Afternoon)...Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors convene at 1 pm Tuesday.

The Board will hear a presentation on the Imperial Valley 9/11 Stair Climb event in September. Participants can sign-up now. 14 employees will receive Service awards, and the IID Team of the Month for July will be recognized. On the action agenda, the Board wil discuss setting Public Rate Hearings for Street Lighting-Wireless Technology. They will adopt a resolution for the potential formation of an Environmental Department. The Board will be asked to approve the Power Department's name restoration. They will also consider a resolution providing Health and Welfare Benefits for the Directors of the IID.
