The Salton Sea Authority has selected a new leadership team.

Imperial Irrigation District Director Gina Dockstader will serve a president of the board effective July 1. Dockstder was chosen to lead the board at a Special Meeting held on Wednesday. Vice President will be Castulo Estrada of the Coachella Valley Water District, Secretary, Yxstian Gutierrez, a Riverside County Supervisor with Imperial County Supervisor Ryan Kelley serving as Secretary. 

The Salton Sea Authority is involved in the work in and around the Salton Sea and is empowered to revitalize the Salton Sea while working with local, state and federal authorities.
