The Imperial County Board of Supervisors has declared June as " Alzheimer's Brain Awareness Month.

The Board made the declaration at Tuesdays meeting to raise awareness and support those affected by Alzheimers and other dementia-related conditions. The Board also used the declaration to promote brain health in the community.
