June is Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse Awareness Month.

The Imperial County Board of Supervisors made the declaration at the Tuesday meeting. The County is partnering with the Imperial County Department of Social Services, Public Administrator/Area Agency on Aging, Behavioral Health, San Diego Regional Center, and El Centro Police Department to raise awareness and protect vulnerable community members.
