The Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors will meet Tuesday.

Directors will start with a closed session at 11:00 a.m. and then reconvene in open session at 1:00 p.m. Among the items on the agenda are the presentation of the Team of the Month for June to the Habitat Conservation Plan Managed Marsh Spring Planting Team, consisting of Environmental Specialists from the Water Department's Environmental Mitigation section. Recently, 3,750 trees and emergent vegetation were planted at the Managed Marsh Complex north of Calipatria.

The Board will also announce college scholarships to defendants of district employees. A total of 27 scholarships will be awarded to qualified students who obtained a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average and will be attending an accredited college, university or trade school in the fall. 

The Board is also expected to adopt the 2024 - 2025 Strategic Plan. 

The meeting will be held at the Condit Auditorium on Broadway in El Centro.
