The Imperial Tigers Softball team has advanced to the CIF- Southern California Regional Championship game.

The Tigers beat the Steele Canyon Cougers 8-4 on Thursday scoring 4 runs in the top of the 8th inning to take win. Freshman Addison Clark went 3 for 4, scoring 2 runs and adding an RBI. Sophomore Clarissa Davila went 3 for 5 with a triple and 2 runs scored. Junior pitcher Jaden Rutledge went all 8 innings giving up 9 hits but just 3 earned runs. 

The Tigers now move to the Regional Finals Championship game against the Number 1 seeded Otay Ranch Mustangs. That game will be Saturday at Otay Ranch. The Mustangs defeated Bakersfield Christian 10 -1 to advance to the championship game.
