The Board begins the public session by declaring this week as Public Works Week.. The Employee of the Month for April will be recognized, and employees will be recognized for their milestone anniversaries. As the Air Pollution Control Board they will hear a presentation from the Air pollution control district on their program results for the education program; Air Community Education, in Partnership with Southwest Academy for Careers in Health Sciences Community Health Worker Course. Back as the Board of Supervisors, there will be a presentation regarding Lithium Valley 2023 Community Engagement. Behavioral Health will have several requests for action. There will also be a request to send an Imperial County Delegation to China, South Korea and Japan to advocate for business development in Lithium Valley.
