The Imperial County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday.

Among the actins taken by the Board was approving funding of $395,000 for the Small Business Development Center. The money to come from the Community Benefit Fund. The Board received a presentation from Raizes on their 2023 Community Engagement for the Lithium Valley Specific Plan. The board also issued a resolution and presented a plaque to Gonzalo "Chato" Gerardo for his 32 years of service to the City of Calexico Police Department. The board also proclaimed May 2024 as Mental Health Month. The board also accepted the Certification of  the results of the Canvass of the April 16, 2024, Calexico Special Recall Election.
