The Imperial Irrigation District has announced advanced safety measures for IID meetings.

According to the District, in support of public safety and in line with how public agencies conduct business today, the district will begin asking attendees at board meetings to go through a security screening process. This will include passage through a metal detector. The new measures will take affect starting with the board meeting of May 7, 2024. The public should plan for additional time to gain access to the facility due to the new measures.
