Yuma County Sheriff's Office (YCSO) is investigating a double homicide that occurred Wednesday evening. 

YCSO deputies responded to a residence in the 1900 block of W. Chico Lane following the report of a possible burglary and two missing people. According to the Sheriff's Department, someone had gone to check on the elderly couple that resided at the residence and noticed that the home had apparently been burglarized. On arrival deputies searched the property and found the missing man and woman deceased inside the residence. The case is being investigated by the YCSO Criminal Investigations Bureau.
