(Fentanyl Awareness Event held at IVC)...The event was held Tuesday.

It was hosted by Imperial Valley Colleges Student Health Center. The event featured presentations from the Brawley Police Department, The Imperial County Distrtict Attorney's Office anf the Imperial County Behavioral Health Service. Attendees were provided resources, pamphlets, Fentanyl testing kits and Narcan. Fentanyl is probably the most dangerous synthetic opiods in the country right now.. The goal of the event was to bring awareness to the impact Fentanyl has on the community, health and security. Education and awareness are seen as vital tools in the fight against abuse of the dangerous drug.
