Brawley residents may see a posse passing through the city streets.
It's the Brawley Police Horse Ride in support of Autism Awareness Month. Brawley Mayor Ramon Castro, Police Chief Jimmy Duran and U.S. Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino will ride through town Thursday. The ride will start at the Brawley Police Department on Main Street, head down Seventh Street, onto Flamning, to Imperial Avenue, then on Jones, Mesquite and back on to Imperial Avenue before ending back at the Police Station. The ride will start at 4:30 p.m. and be over by 6:30 p.m.
