(Recall election in Calexico was held April 16)....The ballot asked voter to vote yes or no to recall Calexico City Council members Raul Urena and Gilberto Manzanarez.

Updates have indicated 76.01 percent of the vote said yes to recall Urena. 75.27 percent said yes to recall Manzanarez. The Registrar of Voters says they are not done counting. Still to be counted are 1,850 unprocessed ballots, 820 vote by mail ballots dropped off at precincts and approximately 555 provisional/conditional ballots. And, they are still receiving ballot mailed in that are post marked on or before April 16. The deadline for thos ballots is April 23rd. Final results will not be official until all ballots are counted.
