The Dallas Cowboys have signed Royce Freeman to a one-year deal.

Freeman, an Imperial Valley native, is a six-year NFL veteran. He was drafted in the third round of the 2018 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos after a record breaking career at Oregon. Freeman spent three years with the Broncos and then a year each with the Panthers, Texans and the Rams. Last year with the Rams, Freeman rushed for 319 yards as a back-up running back. Freeman, who set records at Imperial High School, will be the most experienced running back with the Cowboys.
