The Imperial Valley Desert Museum will present an Evening with an Expert.

The speaker, Dr. Matthew Herbst, will present ' Journey to the Center of the World: Sacred Encounters in the Colorado Desert'. Dr. Herbst is a professor at UC San Diego, where he directs the Making of the Modern World, a general education world history program. The program will be Saturday and run from 6 - 9 p.m. at the museum in Ocotillo. Tickets are $40.00 and includes food and beverages.
