(Customs and Border Protection Fee changes)....A final rule on the fee adjustments was published in the Federal Registrar earlier this week.
The CBP says the final rule harmonizes the fees for the NEXUS, Global Entry and SENTRI programs. The fees have not been adjusted for over 15 years. The new fees will go into effect on October 1, 2024. Applicants under the age of 18 will be exempt from the application fee when a parent or legal guardian is already a member of, or concurrently applying for NEXUS, SENTRI or Global Entry. The SENTRI fee will increase to a uniform fee of $120.00 and will be collected in full when each application is submitted. For NEXUS, a joint program between CBP and Canada Border Services Agency, will increase from $50 to $120. The Global Entry fee will increase from $100 to $120.
