A late Easter night traffic stop ended in an arrest.

According to the Imperial County Sheriff's Office, deputies from the Winterhaven Station made a traffic stop on a vehicle near Sidewinder Road and Interstate 8. The vehicle was occupied by four subjects. All four were removed from the vehicle and detained. One of the passengers was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun. The passenger was booked at Imperial County Jail for Possession of a Loaded Firearm and Concealing a Firearm. The driver was cited and released for driving without a license.
