The body of a 54-year-old Seattle woman who had been missing for two weeks was found in Mexicali.

According to a CBS News report, Reyna Hernandez was last heard from on February 26. According to friends, the woman was reported missing after she didn't open her hair salon or answer her phone. Police in Renton, Washington said that they saw a news article about an unidentified body found in a cemetery along the Tijuana Highway in Mexicali. Renton investigators, working with Mexicali authorities, were able to identify the body as that of Hernandez. A 61-year-old Renton man was arrested on unrelated charges and police recovered Hernandez's vehicle. Police say that there is evidence that Hernandez was taken against her will and the death is apparently a domestic violence crime. U. S. authorities will seek the extradition of the suspect.
