(The State Primary Presidential Election).....It is March 5th throughout the State of California.

The Polls open at 7 am and will remain open until 8 pm. All registered voters received a mail in ballot. Elections officials say it is hoped they have been used. For those who do not want to vote by mail, can cast a ballot on election day. The important thing is to vote. Vote By Mail can be dropped off in special Drop Boxes at almost all City Halls in the County. They can be dropped off at the Administration Center in El Centro. Ballots can also be mailed in. No postage is necessary. However, they must be postmarked by March 5th and they must be received at the elections department within 7 days of election day.
