(Abandoned house in Brawley destroyed by fire)...It happened Friday morning.

It was reported at 8:20 am. The house was in the 1000 block of East B Street in Brawley. Brawley and Calipatria Fire Departments responded to the fire along with Brawley Police. The house was destroyed. No one was found in the house and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Neighbors said the house was frequented by transients, but that has not been confirmed.
