An early morning hit and run accident resulted in extensive damage to two fences.

The accident occurred at 1:00 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Woodward Avenue in El Centro. A car ran into fences at two homes and also a a parked car. Several subjects were seen running from the scene, one wearing a white hoodie and the other a black hoodie. The suspects were last seen heading westbound from the accident scene. Investigating officers contacted the emergency departments at both local hospitals to see if anyone had shown up for medical attention. The investigation of the accident is continuing.
