Approximately $500.00 worth of copper was stolen from an El Centro business.

The theft was reported Thursday morning and occurred at the Simplot facility on Danenberg Road. According to the report a man about 5 feet 8 inches, wearing a hoodie and jeans and another suspect, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing jeans, a hoodie and a facemask, cut the fence and stole the copper. The damage to the fence was estimated at $200.00.
