(United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission awards a contract)....It is for phase 1 of their enterprise asset management program.

The Commission launched their new Enterprise Asset Management Program by awarding a contract for the first of the project's four phases. This contract will assist in the design, development, and implementation of an enterprise asset management system for the USIBWC along the US/Mexico border in the United States. Phase 1 includes the start-up, testing and implemnentation of an EAM software system, recommendations to the Commission's pilot asset management project, which includes permanent operating equipment and gaging stations, and development of a wastewater treatment asset management plan for the agency's two plants in San Ysidro, California and Nogales, Arizona. Phase 2 will cover storage dams and hydropower plants. Phase 3 will cover Diversion dams and levees. And Phase 4 will cover bridges, buildings and monuments. The future phases will be subject to the availability of funds and satisfactory performance.
