(It was reported Wednesday)...Mexican Authorities in Sonora Mexico reported Cocopah Indigenous leader, Aronia Wilson, had been found dead.

. Cocopahs inhabit northern Mexico as well as Arizona, near Yuma. The state prosecutor in Sonora says they are questioning a person of interest in the death of Wilson. They say the initial investigation points to motives related to her immediate circle of friends, family or acquaintances. They have ruled out Wilson's political activities as a motivating factor. A cause of death has not been made available.
