(Grant approved for Calipatria)...The Southern California Association of Governments approved the grant.

The Regional Council approved $1.5 million. It is for infrastructure improvement to help the City of Calipatria meeting its housing production goals. The funds will be used to design and construct necessary repairs to the City's Delta Street Pump Station. When finished, the station will promote existing and future affordable residential development in the Calipatria Eastside Specific Plan and accommodate up to 736 units.
