A motorized bicycle rider died after colliding with a pick-up truck.

The accident occurred at about 5:20 p.m. Wednesday on northbound State Route 86 just south of Ralph Road. Imperial Police said that when officers arrived on the scene the cycle rider was lying in the roadway and was unresponsive. CPR was administered but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The victim was riding a motorized bicycle northbound on Highway 86 when he was struck by a pick-up truck. The deceased rider was identified as 57-year-old Raymond Rosenbaum of Brawley. The driver of the pick-up was not injured. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
