A man was arrested for Driving Under the Influence when he was found asleep at the wheel of his car.

At about 7:30 a.m. Saturday, employees of an El Centro convenience store told El Centro Police that the man had been in the store and appeared to be intoxicated. Officers found the man behind the wheel of his car in the parking lot of the store. A Field Sobriety Test was conducted and it was determined the man was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was booked at Imperial County Jail.
